A therapeutic and nurturing pregnancy massage gives special attention to the mother-to-be, which in turn nurtures the new life that grows within her.
Pregnancy massage relieves many of the normal discomforts of pregnancy such as backache, muscle cramps, neck and headaches and water retention. It also increases blood and lymph circulation, which in turn brings more oxygen and nutrients to you and baby. This means greater vitality and less fatigue for you.
Postnatal massage assists the body in ‘settling back down’. It helps to restore energy levels after labour and helps to balance hormones and gives you some time much needed time to yourself. It eases muscular tension and fatigue, facilitates healing, stimulates the return of energy and circulation and eases backache and shoulder pain.
The treatment will normally consist of massaging the whole body, however it can be tailored to suit your needs. You will leave feeling nourished, supported and completely relaxed knowing you are in good hands.
I only use oils that are organic and natural, safe for you and safe for baby.
The first treatment lasts an hour and a half with a consultation and follow up treatments will last an hour.
£65 for an hour and a half
£55 for an hour
Treatments can be carried out in the privacy of your home with an additional cost.
I went for a pregnancy massage last week with Pamela Rogers – in three words ‘it was heavenly’! I was sceptical that a pregnancy massage could be as relaxing and enjoyable as a normal massage however Pamela proved me wrong – It was fantastic! I had an hour and a half full body pregnancy massage. The only difference I felt was that I lay on my side instead of tummy – I actually found this to be more comfortable that a normal massage.
When I arrived at Pamela’s home, the room that was presented was beautifully decorated with scented candles and relaxing music. It was a perfect ambience.
Pamela made me feel extremely relaxed and maintained a professional yet personal approach throughout the experience. Her massage techniques were amazing and she is obviously vey well trained.
The massage was such a treat and when I left I felt physically and mentally refreshed. I would highly recommend Pamela to all pregnant women in search of a great masseuse – she will not disappoint. – Reflections from Annabel Dillon.
