Ever since I was young I can remember being intrigued by the whole concept of life and birth – as it turns out now it’s a part of my life’s path! One that runs parallel to my very creative spirit and my dedication ‘to serve’.
I was guided by the synchronicities of life and started my training for various therapies in 2002 working up to Reiki Master Teacher Training level. I am also fully qualified in Sekhem healing, Ayurvedic Massage (Abhyanga and Shirodhara Massage), Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candles too.
I decided to become a doula after having my 3 cherubs which consisted of twins, a boy and a girl. When they were a year old, I was pregnant with my 3rd, another beautiful boy:) I knew in my heart it was the right path for me and I knew that I could integrate my holistic and spiritual work to it making it so fulfilling and inspirational. In 2008 I trained with Nurturing Birth on becoming a birth and postnatal doula and went through a rigorous mentoring process to become fully recognised and certified.
Furthermore, I trained as a Breathe To A Better Birth Teacher and now offer one to one sessions. This was the perfect compliment to my doula work and one that is so important during childbirth.
All the years of learning and growing led me to when ‘Inspirational Pregnancy Retreats’ was born. It literally came to me whilst I was meditating. I knew instantly in my heart that this was my next big project. This also led me to training with Sacred Pregnancy and I also run 2 day workshops on this too.
As well as training in 2003 in Reiki healing (mastership level) in November 2015 I completed my Bio-Energy level one healing certification. I really love healing and have achieved some amazing results with both Reiki and Bio Energy healing. Check out what one of my clients had to say about a healing session:)
I love being really creative and I love making mala necklaces with semi precious stones and crystals. These are hand knotted with 108 semi precious beads and strung with so much love. Each one is also blessed with Reiki. I get so many compliments when I wear them and they really feel and look so beautiful. Do check out some of them here.
In 2015 I attended a 2 and a half year (240 hours) Dru Yoga Teacher Training course and practice Yoga most days. Soon after being certified I enrolled in a prenatal course so I could teach pregnancy yoga. I love teaching yoga and can’t wait to share my knowledge and wisdom with you all. I also love meditating, connecting deep within and honouring myself and the journey I walk upon. I’m a very down to earth, open hearted and grounded person and always try and see beauty in most things. On top of this I cook for Alternatives every Monday and make delicious indian home-made vegetarian food for sale. I love going to Alternatives and have been part of their team since 2002. There’s something so special about being part of the team with like minded beautiful souls, listening to amazing speakers from all around the world and going on fabulous workshops, it truly lights me up.
My other love in life is music… My heart sings with joy when I sit and write songs, my stories. Weather it’s playing a few chords on the piano or strumming away on my beautiful sweet sounding guitar or singing – it’s my way of letting go, being creative, expressing and releasing.
My true desire, my vision is to bring back the sacredness in life, to inspire and teach and to empower. There’s such an amazing feeling of being of service and that goes for anything I do, be it for women/families to step into their power, for them feel inspired, supported and empowered or for them to birth with their deepest instincts. I also love to weave a web of support for mums to be and to bring more awareness to birthing consciously into a new paradigm.
As a mother of three children, I can truly understand what a woman goes through, how she feels and what her anxieties during this time. If I can make a difference on helping you on one of the greatest peaks in life then I will be so blessed.
With love and blessings, Pammie x
